<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure team! This person will focus on elegantly solving complex problems and driving the architecture and implementation of our cloud platforms. In this role, you will develop solutions that empower SpotOn engineers and our customers with robust platform-level systems, lead projects from initial architecture to final implementation, and help in our transformation of operating at massive scale. As a critical contributor to our next-generation &#8216;cells&#8217; architecture, you&#8217;ll work on creating tools and products that act as team multipliers, enhancing overall engineering efficiency and supporting massive scalability. This position requires a hands-on approach, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while directly impacting the direction of our cloud infrastructure.</p>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and increase resilience and reliability.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Contribute to developing infrastructure as code (IaC) practices and the evolution of our overall cloud architecture.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Identify and address performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in our cloud infrastructure.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Build and automate our next-generation cells architecture, a horizontal scaling platform that allows us to support growing customers all over the world.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Automate rebalancing of our customers across our cells to spread the load (without downtime!).</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Implement best practices for optimizing resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Collaborate with other engineers, providing mentorship and knowledge transfer to enhance the team&#8217;s overall technical capabilities.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.</span></li>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">3+ years of experience with cloud platforms. e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP (AWS preferred)</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">3+ years of experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Strong experience in the design and implementation of cloud architectures.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Fluency in a programming language like Python, Go, Ruby, or similar.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience developing cloud networking infrastructure, including DNS, CDNs, load balancers, VPCs, subnets, and security groups.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience managing observability platforms, building monitoring dashboards, and configuring high quality, actionable alerting.</span></li>
</ul>
