<!-- -->As a Managing Consultant supporting our Federal government client, you will work as part of an innovative team to research, prepare, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will be trusted to complete tasks independently, begin leading others in completing tasks, and contribute to the overall team effort to solve challenging problems for the benefit of our customers.</p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">The successful candidate will have the ability to:</strong></p>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Thought-leader on learning experience design best practices for adult learners</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Conduct research to understand requirements, client’s needs. Research methodologies could include customer research/stakeholder interviews, focus groups, workshopping/training concept generation, co-collaborative workshops, data analysis, prototype development and testing</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Strong analytical skills with ability to define, collect, and analyze requirements</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Lead curriculum development using the ADDIE method, facilitate customer validation and testing, pilot plans, course evaluations, train-the-trainer content, and continuously improve curriculum based on feedback from clients and evaluations</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Designs and develops training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences, including employees, managers, customers, or other learners</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Conducts skill assessments and collects input to identify training or development needs, goals, gaps, and requirements</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Consults with subject matter experts to define learning objectives and to design appropriate course content and training curriculum</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Develops curricula supporting defined competency models or skill frameworks.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Writes and edits outlines, syllabus, lecture notes, and materials for in-person or online courses and self-study programs</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Evaluates the software or collaboration tools to be selected for training</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Establishes metrics to use to evaluate training effectiveness</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">May coach trainers</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Understand recent technological developments, tools, and advancements and how they are utilized across our client’s organization and enterprise. Gauge how our clients’ technology supports and enables their mission. Recommend improved uses these and new technologies to achieve desired business outcome</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Have the personality and demeanor to quickly build rapport with diverse stakeholders and research participants, both in-person and remotely. People warm to you quickly, enabling them to engage in rich and natural conversations with you.You skillfully probe beyond their first response and can uncover deeper underlying insights, motivations</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Excellent communication skills, experience facilitating training in person and online</span></li>
</ul>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Doctorate degree in instructional design or related field</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">10+ years of relevant, professional experience</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Knowledge of Human-Centered Design/Design Thinking, employee experience, customer experience, and/or service design</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Curious and open-minded approach to work</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Thrive in a continuous Build-Measure-Learn cycle</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Engage with technology—with comfort and ease (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, Monday, Slack, etc.)</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Excellent verbal and written communication skills</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance</span></li>
