<p>We are seeking a versatile and experienced People Ops Generalist with a specialization in recruitment to join our team. As a People Ops Generalist – Recruitment Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of the recruitment process while also providing comprehensive People Ops support across various functions. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both talent acquisition and broader HR initiatives within our organization.</p>
<p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:</strong></p>

<li>Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.</li>
<li>Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent, utilizing a variety of channels such as job boards, social media, and networking events.</li>
<li>Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practices.</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Employee Engagement and Development:</strong></p>

<li>Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, such as organizing team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and surveys.</li>
<li>Train managers and supervisors on performance evaluation best practices, providing guidance and support throughout the review cycle.</li>
<li>Integrate performance feedback into talent development initiatives, succession planning, and career development programs.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Employee Onboarding and Orientation:</strong></p>

<li>Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including paperwork completion, orientation sessions, and introductions to company policies and culture.</li>
<li>Serve as a point of contact for new employees, addressing questions, facilitating a smooth transition into the organization, and setting employees up for ongoing success.</li>

<p><strong>HR Administration and Compliance:</strong></p>

<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.</li>
<li>Assist with HR administrative tasks, such as benefits administration, payroll processing, and performance management support.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>HR Policies and Procedures:</strong></p>

<li>Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to promote a positive work environment and ensure legal compliance.</li>
<li>Conduct trainings on HR topics as needed to educate employees and managers.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What Makes You The Perfect Fit:</strong></p>

<li>3-5 years in a People Operations role, with at least 1-2 years with a Recruiting focus</li>
<li>Proven experience with talent acquisition, with a strong track record of managing full cycle recruiting.</li>
<li>Strong competence with Greenhouse required; experience with Namely a plus.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates and employees at all levels of the organization.</li>
<li>Creative thinking and innovation skills, with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches to new hire success and employee engagement</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.</li>
<li>Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to the ever-changing start-up environment.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.</li>

<p>Pay varies depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. For candidates outside of metro market areas, we use the state average.</p>
<p>The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.</p>
<p>Nova Labs targets the 50th percentile of the pay scale for new hires.</p>

<li>Tier 3 (Austin, Dallas, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Phoenix, Portland, Philadelphia, Sacramento): $80,000 – $108,000</li>
<li>Tier 4 Other, Miami, Columbus, Raleigh-Durham, SLC, Orlando, Eugene, NH, San Antonio): $75,000 – $102,000</li>
