<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">Join our dynamic, transatlantic team from the US and Germany. We specialize in writing subsystem requirements for key hardware components, including Lidars, Cameras, Radars, and Actuators within the System Design group.</p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">What you will do:</strong></p>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Use model-based system engineering (MBSE) to specify Sensing related Autonomous Driving Functions.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Allocate functional and performance requirements, making sure they cascade down to the various stakeholders and abstraction levels of the system.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Provide comprehensive advance systems expertise in integrating and bringing architecture changes and component revisions.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Write verification proposals and executing systems integration tests at different abstraction levels of the system such as Hardware in Loop (HiL) and Software in Loop (SiL).</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Manage requirements across the V-cycle establishing traceability with product, system, hardware, software, and verification &amp; validation teams.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure requirements are consistently met and the desired functionality achieved</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Implement systems engineering processes cross-functionally with other teams including review &amp; support of requirements, and evaluate architecture robustness.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Inform system design decisions across hardware and software of the Virtual Driver according to established industry standards and best practices.</span></li>

<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">What You’ll need to succeed:</strong></p>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Masters in Computer Science, Aero/Math/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related &amp; 2+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s with 5+ years of applicable experience.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Excellent technical judgment and intuition in the field of automated driving.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Expertise with sensing technologies like Lidar, Camera and Radar.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience with requirements engineering and requirements writing.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ability to turn ambiguity into technical direction.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Take lead and drive decisions.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ability to explain complex technical issues and justify solutions with data.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Good soft skills and the ability to positively influence others.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience with safety critical systems.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Fundamental understanding of sensors, electronic control units and embedded systems.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience developing system architectures and ability to determine tradeoffs, and optimize solutions.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ability to read code (C/C++, Python).</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Automotive industry experience.</span></li>
