<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>About This Role</strong></h3>



<p>In our quest to make the home-buying process more accessible, we are looking for an escrow officer with strong business development skills and a solid book of business to join our growing team!&nbsp; As an Escrow Officer with Divvy Title, you will serve as an expert in the closing process, working closely with agents, buyers, sellers, and lenders to help facilitate a successful resale or refinance transaction.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Please note: This is a hybrid position based in Colorado.</p>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h3>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Comply with state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow trust accounts</li>



<li>Open escrows and communicate with all parties involved to coordinate the transfer of the deposit into escrow and collect all information necessary to set up the file</li>



<li>Prepare and deliver preliminary fees</li>



<li>Prepare and deliver documents for signature</li>



<li>Review title commitment and resolve curative issues</li>



<li>Schedule closings</li>



<li>Review executed loan documents and return to lender for funding review and approval, in accordance with their specific instructions</li>



<li>Perform clerical duties such as filing, answering phones, typing forms and corresponding with parties to the transaction</li>



<li>Manage tasks and workflow for assistants and processors working directly on your transactions</li>
</ul>



<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></h3>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Strong communicator, who can work cross-functionally with multiple teams</li>



<li>Technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with customers via phone and email</li>



<li>Strong Business Development skills and relationships with established clientele </li>



<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment as an individual contributor and in collaboration with others</li>



<li>A high degree of organization</li>



<li>Computer competency</li>



<li>Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite</li>



<li>Fluency with escrow and title software, ideally Qualia</li>



<li>5+ years of experience in escrow and closing</li>



<li>Strong focus on problem-solving with excellent customer service skills</li>



<li>State licenses are encouraged, but not required for hiring</li>



<li>Ability to multitask effectively and handle a high volume of transactions</li>
</ul>
