<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">Reporting directly to Pie’s Deputy Chief Financial Officer, the Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&amp;A) will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy, planning and analysis for Pie. This role will be responsible for building strong relationships across the finance team and numerous key non-finance stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the P&amp;C insurance industry and a fundamental understanding of insurance accounting and financial modeling of GAAP and statutory insurance carrier financial statements. This person will be able to critically analyze current and projected results with the ability to aid in executive decision making. Additionally, this position includes overall management and development responsibilities for the FP&amp;A team.</p>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Lead and prepare the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and projections.</span></li>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Oversee the preparation and review of financial reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management, the board of directors and investors.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Conduct in-depth analysis of financial results, identifying opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and operational efficiencies.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with industry standards and regulatory and rating agency requirements.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Provide financial forecasting and analysis support for fundraising, reinsurance negotiations, and potential future acquisitions.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Model maintenance and reporting on Pie equity including capital table and equity waterfall.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Establish relationships with, and distribute reporting to Pie’s investors</span></li>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve financial processes and enhance overall business performance.</span></li>

<h4><strong class=" font-semibold">The Right Stuff</strong></h4>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting or related fields is required. MBA or CPA preferred.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">5+ years in a finance leadership role within the P&amp;C insurance industry.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and insurance industry best practices.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.</span></li>
