Our customers love our product and our engineers to deliver the quality expected of the Smartsheet team.</p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">You will report to our Sr. Manager, Engineering located in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer.</p>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Write clean, efficient, performant and scalable code</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Instrument, identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks in new Smartsheet views written in TypeScript, React, and Redux</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Collaborate with the individual views teams to understand upcoming features and their potential impact on system performance</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Instrument and profile view applications to identify web performance bottlenecks</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Develop, enforce and educate web performance patterns, tooling, standard and best practice</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Take part in code reviews and architectural discussions as you work with other software engineers, UX designers and product managers</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Be a technical contributor on our team, implementing performance and scale improvements in TypeScript/React/Redux and integrating with back-end Kotlin/Java services running on AWS</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members</span></li>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">2+ years experience in SaaS application development</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience with React and Redux</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience building performant and scalable web applications</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Successful in an environment with frequent production releases</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience writing complex asynchronous code that communicates with multiple services</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience</span></li>
