<h3 class="wp-block-heading">The Role</h3>



<p>We are looking for a <strong>Director of Accounts Payable </strong>to&nbsp;innovate, win, and grow with us in a remote location (East coast only) or the Portsmouth, NH corporate office (preferred).</p>



<p>The Director of Global Accounts Payable will be responsible for the oversight of the global Accounts Payable function and will lead a team comprised of a Senior Associate in the US and a team of Associates with a Team Lead in Bangalore, India.&nbsp; The Accounts Payable team is responsible for the timely and accurate processing and payment of vendor invoices, employee expenses, and managing the corporate card programs. &nbsp;The global Accounts Payable team collaborates closely with the global procurement and accounting teams, as well as key business stakeholders.</p>

<p>How you’ll contribute</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Lead the global accounts payable operations, including team members in the US and India</li>



<li>Direct supervision of Accounts Payable team members and coordination with the Director of India Shared Services</li>



<li>Serve as the primary point of communication for the accounts payable team</li>



<li>Review of invoice coding and appropriate approval workflow</li>



<li>Manage weekly payments in collaboration with the Treasury and Accounting teams</li>



<li>Administer A/P and T&amp;E workflow systems</li>



<li>Develop global reporting and manage KPIs</li>



<li>Oversee vendor management and ensure inquiries are addressed in a timely manner</li>



<li>Execute and oversee month-end close responsibilities including accurate monthly accounts payable accruals and balance sheet reconciliations</li>



<li>Ensure deadlines are met for accurate and timely payables disbursements in compliance with company accounting policies and procedures</li>



<li>Collaborate with IT and PMO teams to lead system implementations, including D365 and globalization of T&amp;E systems</li>



<li>Facilitate annual 1099 reporting</li>



<li>Develop and maintain Accounts Payable and T&amp;E process documentation</li>



<li>Challenge current processes and propose/implement improvements where noted</li>



<li>Ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls framework</li>



<li>Ad hoc projects and other administrative duties as assigned</li>

<li>8+ years of experience in accounts payable function in mid to large sized company</li>



<li>Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience</li>



<li>Supervisory experience including hiring, mentoring, review and direct oversight</li>



<li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications</li>



<li>Experience with Microsoft AX or a large ERP</li>



<li>Strong communication (written and verbal) skills</li>



<li>Maintain composure and remains organized under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines</li>



<li>Strong attention to detail and able to consistently and timely produce quality, accurate work</li>



<li>Ability to adapt to, and work through challenges i.e., problem solving skills; a determination to succeed even when faced with something new</li>



<li>Ability to research independently, and to work in a collaborative, team environment</li>
