<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">The Product Marketing team at Lightspeed is seeking a results-oriented Product Marketing Manager to lead growth and lifecycle/customer marketing programs for the Financial Services portfolio, with a focus on Payments, specifically the Instant Payout and Payment Link features. Reporting to the Global Lead of Product Marketing for Financial Services, this position will: analyze trends in our Instant Payout and Payment Link adoption and usage to inform and define marketing programs; drive ongoing experimentation and growth efforts to improve funnel performance; and drive the execution of growth/lifecycle marketing programs that support business goals. This position will also focus on optimizing the onboarding experience for new merchants onto Lightspeed Payments.</p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">To be successful, this role will: build relationships throughout the organization; interact with diverse stakeholders such as product, marketing, sales, customer service, partnerships and others in order to help accelerate the launch and lifecycle management of key Payment features across all relevant products; initiate and shape new programs and ways of working across teams.</p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">What you’ll be responsible for:</strong></p>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Become an expert in the payments industry and understand the evolving landscape that helps retailers &amp; restaurateurs be successful.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Learn the competitive landscape and their key product offerings to inform customer marketing and growth strategies</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Maintain a customer-first mindset to validate and define user personas that can be translated into insights and strategies.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Responsible for defining customer marketing and growth tactics for key payment features, across Hospo and Retail audiences</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Conduct data analysis and market research to derive insights &amp; inform plans for improving Payments adoption.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Own development and execution of an experimentation roadmap; gather cross-functional buy-in and alignment across teams required to execute against growth strategy</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Contribute to the overall Payments Marketing roadmap of marketing initiatives that spans the customer lifecycle, from awareness and consideration through product adoption, onboarding and retention</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Support go-to-market planning and execution of key launches, in partnership with other FinServices Product Marketing Managers.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Collaborate with regional Integrated Marketing Managers to coordinate rollout of global and region-specific initiatives on the Payments growth roadmap</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Developing collaborative relationships with various cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Managers, Sales, and production teams of creatives and automation specialists</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Work closely with Content, Design, Marketing Automation, and Product teams to develop creative and compelling content that resonates with our customers</span></li>
</ul>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">What you need to bring to the team:</strong></p>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">2-5 years experience working in product marketing, growth or lifecycle marketing, or similar go-to-market experience</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Self-starter attitude with an innate curiosity for uncovering new opportunities and an eagerness to bring them to life</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Previous background in SaaS marketing, preferably with experience in either consumer apps / technologies, early stage startups, or with exposure to small business audiences</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience working with product and engineering teams</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Excellent project management skills to lead and influence multiple cross-functional stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ability to build, maintain, and manage close working relationships across a variety of departments and levels</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Strong quantitative analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication skills</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Genuine interest in and curiosity in helping small businesses succeed</span></li>
