<h4><strong class=" font-semibold">About the role</strong></h4>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">As an Engineering Manager, you will develop a deep understanding of both our customers needs and our technical systems to create and deliver a viable technical vision, proactively influence cross-functional partners and teams to align on deliverables that meet our customer needs while improving the technical quality of our platform systems, that includes payments and banking infrastructure. You will lead a team of highly motivated engineers to help them achieve their personal and professional goals, mentor teammates in agile software development theory and practices and collaborate with partners to plan, prioritize, and deliver scalable and reliable products.</p>
<h4><strong class=" font-semibold">What you’ll do:</strong></h4>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">You’ll lead a team of talented, backend software developers to enable and optimize a best in class backend platform that scales across all of Flex’s current and future product offerings.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">You will advance DevOps best practices to ensure a timely and reliable incident response process, while also tending to our resilient test/build/deploy pipeline.</span></li>

<h4><strong class=" font-semibold">Key qualifications:</strong></h4>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Bachelor or above degree in Computer Engineering or a related field</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Minimum of 8 years experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a manager or tech lead role</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ability to work on a globally-distributed team with a high degree of ownership</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience leading the delivery of multiple highly impactful products end to end, on time with a high quality bar</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders, successfully aligning and setting expectations on scope and delivery</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ability to drive yourself and your teams to bring quality and consistency to their code and architecture, without compromising velocity</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ability to grow in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that will challenge you to always bring your best</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience working on FinTech area, and familiar with major payment rails</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience working on AWS cloud based applications.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience working on FinTech area, and familiar with major payment rails</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience working with a team located across multiple time zones</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Hands on at least one program language, Java or Python, and familiar with SQL, NO-SQL</span></li>

<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><em>The national pay range for this role is $218,000-$234,000 in base salary. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate&#8217;s experience aligned with Flex&#8217;s internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.</em></p>
