<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">Veo is hiring an accounting associate/finance specialist to support its micromobility operations within the Finance Team. This is a unique opportunity to play an important role in scaling the company during its rapid growth. This role will own the accounting services function within the finance team: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Card Expenses, and Reimbursements. Additionally, this role will help support the accounting and finance close process on a monthly basis through balance sheet recons, reporting, slide deck updates, variance analysis, etc. This role will report to the Controller, with additional supervision by the Finance Manager and Sr. Accountant.</p>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Manage the Accounts Payable process from invoice processing, routing, and approval.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Manage vendor relationships, emails, and communications</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Manage the Accounts Receivable function, ranging from invoice creation &amp; submission and payment follow-ups.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Manage the credit card process through our platform, Brex, by leading credit card trainings, the administration of credit cards, and receipts reconciliation</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Help process reimbursements for the company through our credit card platform, Brex, and work with the HR team on miscellaneous expense reimbursements</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Assist with basic journal entry posting in our ERP to assist with accounting close</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Work with Sr. Accountant on balance sheet reconciliations</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Assist with basic financial analysis &amp; scenarios in coordination with the finance manager</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Help with financial reporting through slides &amp; g-sheets with supervision of the finance manager</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Complete process documentation for accounting services</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ad hoc projects as needed</span></li>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Basic experience in Google Sheets and Slides</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills</span></li>
