<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">ABOUT THE ROLE</strong></p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical Sr. Financial Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting one or more of our software vertical business units within Altera. The purpose of this role is to develop strong partnerships with business unit leadership to drive financial performance and provide decision support.</p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200"><strong class=" font-semibold">Financial Reporting and Analysis:</strong> You will work jointly with BU leadership to prepare detailed monthly financial forecasts, including developing and maintaining client revenue models to ensure accurate projection of revenue from backlog and sales forecasts, as well as detailed cost forecasting. In addition, you will prepare and present detailed monthly reporting packages to various levels of leadership inclusive of variance analysis, financial insights and other key performance metrics. You will conduct monthly business unit reviews with business unit leadership and executive management.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200"><strong class=" font-semibold">Month-end Close:</strong> You will ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end closing procedures, detailed variance analysis, and quarterly deliverables related to quarter and year-end audit procedures and demands.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200"><strong class=" font-semibold">Business Unit Support:</strong> You will develop strong partnerships with business unit leadership and provide them with the financial information and analysis they need to drive business unit financial performance.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200"><strong class=" font-semibold">Ad hoc Analysis:</strong> You will respond to ad-hoc requests for financial data and analysis from various stakeholders, and you’ll consult to identify and implement areas for process improvements within finance and across their business units.</span></li>

<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">5-7 years of experience in a financial analyst role, with experience managing a full P&amp;L.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a mature and proactive approach to responsibilities.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Able to work independently and as part of a team, including working effectively and positively in a matrix environment.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience using various formulas and functions.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience with one or more ERPs (Oracle, SAP, Great Plains, etc.) and financial reporting tools, i.e. Hyperion, TM1 preferred.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience supporting a software industry business preferred</span></li>
</ul>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">TRAVEL</strong></p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">Travel for this role is minimal.</p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">WORK LOCATION</strong></p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">This is a remote U.S. or Canadian-based role. The ideal candidate will be located in either the Eastern or Central time zone.</p>
