<h2>The Role:</h2>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to help oversee our client databases, data pipelines and ETL workflows. You will have the opportunity to drive the automation of processes, data architecture design, and enforce data governance best practices.</p>
<h2>Responsibilities:</h2>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Data Architecture Design: Create and implement data architecture solutions that align with the company&#8217;s strategic goals, ensuring they are scalable, flexible, and efficient.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development and business teams to ensure data architecture solutions meet their needs and expectations.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">ETL Management: Oversee the data warehouse ETL processes, ensuring data is accurately extracted, transformed, and loaded in a consistent and reliable manner.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Integration Management: Manage and establish integrations with third-party applications, both on-premises and cloud-based, using various methods (APIs, ODBC, stored procedures, etc.).</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Performance Optimization: Monitor data usage patterns to identify and implement opportunities for optimization and performance improvements.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Data Security: Ensure data security and privacy by implementing robust access controls, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Data Quality Improvement: Analyze and resolve data quality issues, implementing strategies to enhance data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Governance &amp; Compliance: Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Database Management: Maintain and secure SQL databases, ensuring they remain reliable, performant, and secure.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Industry Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, recommending improvements to enhance data management processes.</span></li>
