<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">As a <strong class=" font-semibold">Sr. Proposal Manager</strong> at Accela, you hold a pivotal role within our RFP team, contributing significantly to our Sales endeavors. In this role, you will manage and craft competitive proposals that bolster the Sales team, guiding them from the project&#8217;s inception to its final submission. Your primary duties involve providing strategic input to pursuit strategies and closely collaborating with the response team to produce compelling, client-oriented proposals. Additionally, you&#8217;ll engage with various departments and utilize AI tools to enrich and refine proposal content, ensuring its development and enhancement.</p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Manage and develop compelling, professional, and customized proposals in response to RFx submissions and SaaS/Security Questionnaires.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Leads substantial and strategic RFx situations that require an advanced understanding of proposal management methods and techniques to obtain successful results.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Provide pursuit recommendations and strategy insights for winning proposals.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Manage content updates by training AI tools to produce appropriate content.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Coach response teams on RFx best practices.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Coordinate response teams (Solution Engineers, Sales, Professional Services, etc.) to make sure they are clear on assignments and collaborate to maximize proposal impact. Lead reviews and help develop win themes with the Sales Representative.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Engage with Subject Matter Experts and AI tools to update Product, Product Marketing, Cloud Ops, and Security content to keep proposal content current and compelling.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Responsible for compliance with RFx guidelines and timelines.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Review and edit peer proposals.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Review Qvidian proposal content updates and drive improvements in the post-submittal process.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Identify and lead in the execution and management of continuous improvement initiatives.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Schedule meetings where appropriate and assigns accountability and ownership.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Exercise independent judgment with minimal support.</span></li>
</ul>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Knowledge of local/state government business processes.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Previous RFx experience.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Demonstrated experience and ability effectively collaborating with and influencing teams and functioning as an individual contributor, which includes creating and tracking assignments, scheduling and managing meetings and executing deadlines.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Well organized and a self-starter, ability to work independently but also collaboratively with Sales, Product, Legal, and Solution Architects/Engineers.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Prior experience with Upland Qvidian software or other proposal automation software.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Excellent oral, written, and visual communication skills, including editing and proofreading abilities.</span></li>

<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3"><strong class=" font-semibold">COMPENSATION AND WELL-BEING</strong></p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 – $110,000. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an annual base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus target. This is a discretionary bonus awarded based on company and individual goal achievement.</p>
