It is a part-time, non-benefited role specifically for University of North Dakota (UND) students. The position requires a commitment of 6-12 hours per week and is classified as non-exempt, meaning it is eligible for overtime pay. The work is not fully remote or hybrid, indicating that in-person attendance may be required.
Responsibilities
• Assist students in understanding course material

• Identify strengths and areas of improvement regarding coursework and study habits
,
• Answer student questions and guide them through class assignments
,
• Conduct review sessions before exams
,
• Complete CRLA-certified tutoring training
,
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and hours worked
,
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Tutor Coordinator
Requirements
• Must have taken Accounting 200 & 201 with a minimum grade of B
,
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
,
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
