Key Responsibilities
• Accurately document eye exams, including visual acuity and basic eye tests, in compliance with medical standards.
• Record detailed patient medical history, ocular history, and interactions between doctors and patients.
• Support ophthalmologists with specialized diagnostic procedures, such as B Scans and Lasers, by maintaining accurate records.
• Educate patients on proper eye care procedures, medications, and post-treatment care protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date and detailed patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and medical standards.
Requirements
• Prior experience in medical transcription or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is required for effective communication with patients.
• Familiarity with ophthalmic equipment and diagnostic procedures is essential.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
Work Environment
