<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">Our engineering team (&gt;150 engineers) is split into organisations which we call Fleets. Each Fleet focuses on a core customer journey (onboarding, security, payments, support, new business, growth, and marketing, etc.). Each of these fleets contains multiple smaller teams called Pods, each of which focuses on a specific aspect of the product.</p>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">Pods will include a product owner, product designer, back-end engineers, Android, iOS, and Web developers, who each bring a unique perspective to the problem you are all contributing towards. We&#8217;re agile, use scrum, continuous integration and continuous delivery, deploying to production every single day.</p>
<h3 class=" text-white font-semibold text-lg mb-2"><strong class=" font-semibold">The role in a nutshell:</strong></h3>
<p class=" text-gray-200 text-base sm:text-lg leading-relaxed mb-3">As a Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll be working closely with our Engineering Teams and Mark Debney our Engineering Operations Director to champion service and enable quality of the delivery. Working closely with fleets to help them in this journey with their unique challenges while enabling our teams to reach their maximum potential without compromising on quality..</p>
<h3 class=" text-white font-semibold text-lg mb-2"><strong class=" font-semibold">Your mission will be:</strong></h3>

<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Help cross-functional pods providing support for testing activities &#8211; manual, automation and test processes</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Help teams implement required types of testing to have the best test coverage</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Drive and perform required types of manual and automation testing in the pods.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Help the Engineering Managers by collating the details from test observations and coverage across pods.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Help the teams (engineers, agile team, product team) in understanding and resolving the quality engineering issues covering defect triage, test coverage</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Work with the Engineering Managers and Competency Leads to drive new process improvements</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Ensure that our platform performs efficiently under varying load and remains stable at all times.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Responsible for identifying performance bottlenecks, conducting thorough load testing to ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability and scalability.</span></li>

<h3 class=" text-white font-semibold text-lg mb-2"><strong class=" font-semibold">A little about you:</strong></h3>
<ul class=" text-base sm:text-lg marker:text-color list-inside list-disc text-gray-500 list-disc list-outside pl-3 mb-6">
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">At least 5+ years of experience as a Test Engineer or similar role, with a focus on the designing and creation of manual test packs and scripts in an agile environment.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience in the complete product development lifecycle preferably within a multidisciplinary team and in an environment using recognised development and testing methodologies</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience with defect management and agile development practices following SDLC.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Proficiency in different types of manual and automation testing like for UI, API, Database, etc., for web and mobile apps.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience in writing/maintaining UI test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Puppeteer or Cypress in JavaScript/TypeScript running in CI/CD pipelines.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Exposure to mobile automation frameworks such as Espresso, XCUITest or Appium</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Exposure to performance testing tools such as Jmeter or K6.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Experience or familiarity with cloud computing (Azure/AWS).</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Quality-oriented mindset with a keen attention to detail.</span></li>
<li class=" leading-snug mb-2 pl-2"><span class="text-gray-200">Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB or CSTE, are a plus.</span></li>
