Description:
• Leads team in developing project workplans and scheduling associated project deliverables
• Acts as a mentor, guiding team members on their career paths
• Builds strong relationships with clients through quality work
• Prepares tax interest computations and explains computations to clients
• Assists with client billing and financial forecasting
• Responds to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
• Maintains a professional and positive attitude at all times
• Manages income tax projects, especially in the complex interest area
• Works effectively in a complex, deadline-driven environment
• Handles tasks in a timely manner and with a high degree of accuracy
• Safeguards confidential information and sensitive material
• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Accounting undergraduate and/or Masters in Tax
• 7+ years of experience in the area of interest
• 5+ years of experience working directly on IRS interest computations
• Experience with tax computation is preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
• Experience with DMI software is preferred
• Valid drivers license required
